Why does this glossary exist?
The industry uses at least six names for substantially the same discipline.
Each entry says what the term means, who else uses it and how, what it is commonly confused with, and what this book's own position on it is.

AI resume
An AI resume is the profile an AI model assembles about you or your business when someone asks, built from everything the model can retrieve and remember.

Memory layer
The memory layer is what a model carries from training: the impression of you already inside it before any search happens.

Retrieval layer
The retrieval layer is what a model fetches live when it is asked about you: your site, reviews, coverage, listings and whatever else it can reach at that moment.

Entity home
An entity home is one page, on a site you control, stating your record completely, so that machines assembling a profile of you have a master copy to reconcile everything else against.

Corroboration
Corroboration is independent sources agreeing about the same fact, which is what raises a machine's confidence in it above the level of a claim.

Consistency
Consistency is the same fact appearing in the same form across every source, so that a machine reading all of them has one claim to hold rather than several to reconcile.

The audit
The audit is reading your own AI resume: asking several models the questions your buyers and employers are asking, and reading the answers as a stranger with money at stake would.

Citations
Citations are the sources a model shows for what it just said about you, and they are the map of which pages are actually feeding your AI resume.

Suppression
Suppression is the old reputation tactic of pushing negative content off page one of Google by publishing and ranking enough positive pages above it.

Namesake
A namesake is somebody or something sharing your name whose evidence bleeds into your AI resume, producing one confident profile assembled from two unrelated lives.

Disambiguation page
A disambiguation page is a page on your own site that states plainly which entity you are and which one you are not, so a machine has an explicit basis for separating you from a namesake.

Machine time
Machine time is the timescale an AI resume actually moves on: days to weeks for retrieved sources, months for pattern-level change, and model release cycles for anything held in memory.

Reputation interrogation
The reputation interrogation is a fixed set of questions asked of every major model on the same schedule, logged verbatim, so that change in your AI resume is measured rather than guessed at.
